The waist measurements provided on sites are probably quite accurate. I mention this because I notice that you collected the same belt in finds. However I find consistently I have to use a cheat when shopping by bust measurement (I shop for 37", not 40.5 or it will be way too big!) and maybe I need to employ a similar cheat for the waist.  Seems like one should be able to trust the size chart, though.   Thank you for your comment! A tuxedo jacket would be a useful thing for me to have in my wardrobe and more festive than a blazer for going out.  My night out was actually pretty casual this time. And then it got A LOT more casual after we found a two hour wait at the restaurant and opted for a burger place instead  :-(   River Raine -- Noted!  I do think a more open décollete would be nice.  My bras have a lot of work to do, however, and they have a pretty high stance--full coverage--I'm worried about boobage spilling out.  I'd have to start by finding a lower-cut bra.
