I really love detail like that. Yet because I'm usually wearing high necklines I don't get many opportunities to play with it. The zip on the hoodie allowed me to adjust the V "just so" for personal flattery. And then the hood framed the face.&nbsp;</p> <p>Claire, these jeans do run a bit small I think -- they also differ a lot from fabrication to fabrication. I got them in the early spring. Later,&nbsp;I tried some in ecru in this size and sent them immediately packing. They were giving me the dreaded leg wrinkles from hell -- you know, the kind where you can't tell if they are too loose or too tight -- and I strongly disliked how they looked. They were that soft stretchy stuff. These ones are part poly, part cotton, and have a crisp and smooth feel to them. They skim the leg rather than cling to it. Even my calves.&nbsp;</p> <p>It's weird...I <b>want </b>to like the Matchsticks but they look awful on me! My goal with these was sort of a cigarette jean look -- not a true skinny. I got ankle length, which on me are just barely long enough to pass muster as regular. They work better with an open vamp shoe or a dark bootie but what the heck.
