I avoid skirts short enough to show my boney knees and all skirts that are A-line or full. The width at hemline just makes my legs look thinner. What works best are knee length pencil skirts that curve back in, tube skirts, narrow pleated skirts or other soft fabrics that fall back against the body, and assymetrical hemlines.
