I do like the jacket with the harem pants; both the streamlined jacket and the dressy feel of the white draped top give the harem pants a professional air. So I can see the outfit going to some work environments; certainly in mine it would be fine (retail), and I wore my harem pants to work today. <br />Other ideas for the pants. . . . You said they require a little longer top, but I also think you need to show the front, right? That's part of what works so nicely in pairing this jacket with them. Harem Leggings, ankle boots, cream drape top (you have seen me in the black version of this) and black ponte jacket. I was pretty sure when I bought this jacket that it would work well over the harems. The Harem leggings need a longer topper to "reign in" the extra fabric at the hip (and without adding extra bulk, and I think this jacket does the trick...anything shorter creates (to my eye) an unattractive silhouette.</p> <p>What do you think. Work appropriate?
