Whew! I pushed spring along on Friday by going back to my roots - shorter hair - and also abandoning them - put in some bright blonde streaks. Just wanted something different but am also, once again, craving Robin Wright Penn's House of Cards do, which has been a gift to short-hair-loving women with fine hair. This is actually pretty close. With more product for a sleeker look, I can emulate her clean minimalist look (but I hope, not her character's claws).</p> <p>Typical casual outfit for the movies - Gap BF jeans, JCrew sweater, Zara booties. It's frigid again today. But yesterday we had a reprieve with temps approaching the freezing mark, so we went snowshoeing: thus, the bonus pic (note that I am wearing a fave, a puffer jacket from American Eagle originally bought for DD when she was a freshman in high school four years ago...makes it a hand-me-up?). </p>
