It helped that they mispronounced kiddo’s name, and he threw his hands up in exasperation before accepting his diploma, which made me (and pretty much the whole graduating class) laugh. </p> <p>Joy, he’s interested in screenwriting and filmmaking, so he’ll be living with us for a while longer while going to school in the LA area. </p> <p>JenniNZ, yes, schools in the US do the full cap and gown for HS graduation at 18. Speaking of one-hit wonders, when I was in school, we rented caps and gowns, but we had to purchase these. And check out the care label below!
