To answer you Jayne, tucking for apples can be tricky...the waistband has to hit you in the "sweet spot", other proportions have to be correct, etc. I can tuck with my dress pants, jeans and some of my skirts, but not with other skirts because of these factors. I did try the skirt last night with a button down shirt tucked in and did not find it flattering but that may be because of the top I chose, not the skirt. Will have to play around with it a bit.</p> <p>Manidipa - definitely too warm now for tall boots!</p> <p>I am noticing something about my fishbow shoes though - as much as I love them, they only work with certain things. I find the thick black ribbon that makes the bow makes the vamp of the shoe look high and dark, even though the actual vamp of the shoe is quite low. This results in making my legs look shorter. They work with my black midi pencil skirt and my green pencil skirt I think because the skirts are more fitted but with this voluminous skirt, they seem like too much shoe!
