Originally I had intended to wear tit with my skinny jeans this morning. But my jeans weren't dry yet (I airdry so they don't get shrunk in the dryer) so had to switch outfits. The blouse has a really beautiful border print around the hemline, so I'm looking forward to wearing it untucked! :)</p> <p>Good idea on the skirt!! I do feel it suits me and my fuller hips, just wasn't initially my style choice. I think the solution for the skirt is pairing it with my super lightweight chambray shirt, knotted at the waist, and a pair of summer sandals. Bit more relaxed that way. </p> <p>The jeans are probably too comfortable haha! They can stretch out a fair bit, so I sometimes have ot belt them to keep them up after a few wears. I'm imagining it would be lovely with more of the print showing. <br />The skirt is worth hanging onto for a while, I'd think. It looks fantastic on you, and you may find ways to wear it that feel more like your current style this season. If not, you could pass it along a bit later, when you're sure. <br />The jeans look great! It could be nice to add a little slouchier fit to your jeans wardrobe. Because though I didnt' put it in my post, I have found myself asking "Do I keep the skirt or cull it?" So you actually picked up on that. Thank you! I think waiting until summer is a good idea. It is a breezy skirt that would keep me cool on warmer days. I only just began doing more Sophia/Rita style looks, so still not sure how much variety I want. I tend to be a mood dresser and pretty eclectic. I also wonder if the more glam looks make me look my actual age of 31, while the cuter pieces make me feel younger. (Last year I got carded when I was wearing a cute style of dress. Started dressing more glam and I don't get carded for drinks. I don't know if that's coincidental or really due to the clothes!) At any rate, I agree tights or something lighter plus some heels would lighten it up, and add a more retro-glam feel. I also wouldn't mind trying it with my gladiator sandals for summer. </p> <p>The sequin outfit is probably my favorite as an outfit. I'm not sure if it's too light a look? It doesn't bookend my dark hair. I normally don't do pastel or icy shades--I feel they wash me out. Are the jeans too baggy? They skinnies, sized up one size.
