First exchange was legitimately because I wanted a different size, second one was because the new pair they sent was missized. Anyway, they are true to size I think. I am between 8 and 10, and te 8 was tight in the butt but fine everywhere else. I have a bubble butt though. I went with 10 tall in the end. They fit similarly to the broken in straight khakis but are softer so they are slouchy rather than bulgy, and the pockets are much more well behaved. </p> <p>Ooh, I do have purple shoes but they are the dansko noris. Not sure that'll work. But I do have burgundy docs, red fluevog boots, and I have grey converse hinesses coming.... They look fantastic on you! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-gap-broken-in-linen-pants-finally#post-958155 Mon, 17 Jun 2013 16:23:23 +0000 Diana 958155@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Well, it took me a couple of tries but I finally got the Gap linen pants in the correct size, and here they are.&nbsp; The olive is indeed quite green as others have noted but I like that.&nbsp; They are very comfy and relaxed (I took the photos immediately after cutting the tags, but they loosened up (as expected) a little almost immediately.&nbsp; Today I've paired them with a polka dot cami, sheer silk hi-low blouse, and my platform sandals.&nbsp; I copied Ceit and got talls and you can see they are full length, even with some scrunch, so I am happy!</p> <p>Forecast is for a high of 90 today (ugh) so I made sure it looked OK with just the cami too just in case.</p> <p>The last photo is from 2005 (in Paris!) and shows me wearing some flared green linen pants that I absolutely loved back then.&nbsp; I wore them until they were falling apart and stained.&nbsp; I am happy to have finally found a substitute after many years (updated for 2013 of course)!</p> <p>Rory Beca blouse, Uniqlo Airism cami, Gap broken in straight linen pants, and Naot sandals. </p>
