So I'll just categorize my typical style as "high-drama" and be content that all the drama in my life apparently comes in the form of outfits, which is MUCH preferred to having it come in the form of personalities and people ;-)</p> <p>So I was once again attempting two personal challenges with this outfit: dressing so that I'm both cool enough in the splendidly warm 90 degree&nbsp;temps we're having right now AND warm enough when spending time in our frigidly cold office AND getting past my discomfort with wearing anything overly leg-baring.</p> <p>I found this adorable vintage printed and embroidered sundress at the flea market a couple of months ago and almost didn't buy it because I didn't think it would be warm enough for me to ever wear it (this is exactly the type of dress/outfit I wore all the time when I was living in Vegas).</p> <p>&nbsp;My boyfriend was actually the one who convinced me to get it because it was SO my colors and&nbsp;my style and the length/fit looked good (tried on over my clothes at the flea market anyway!) and "WTF, it's only $10, why are you trying to talk yourself out of it?"</p> <p>He was right. I'm glad I bought it and have found it works really well worn with a sweater, jean jacket, or leather moto over it. I even have some ankle boots I'll likely wear it with and it's design makes it so that I actually like the way it looks when I wear a t-shirt under it. So that should help it get more play even on the more normal 70 degree days.</p> <p>&nbsp;So I used it as the starting element and went with&nbsp;full-blown bold-color boho look --complete with super huge fringe bag, colorful sandals and hat. I used a denim blazer as my topper for when I was indoors and found that even with bare legs and open toed sandals I wasn't cold (yay!)</p> <p>What do you guys think? Too OTT in it's drama? I have to admit it's difficult to wear that much "in your face" cheery bright color and not have it positively effect my mood. So that's always a good thing, right? </p>
