I bought the same one in silver and gold. They were dirt cheap,&nbsp; I liked the simple shape and the length -- and the price - so I bought them to fill a gap in my accessories capsule, such as it is/was. Over the years I have been shocked at the number of compliments this necklace has received. In fact, once, in the middle of a seminar I was leading a participant raised a hand to ask a question and the question was "where did you get your necklace?". I would say my very offhand purchase has served me pretty well! We are not big crowd people in normal times, so after almost two years of seclusion, it was a lot. Nice. But a lot.</p> <p>While my outfit didn't exactly say "evening", I didn't care, To me there is something luxuriously elegant about slouchy soft knits, and it's a look I feel good in.</p> <p>The weather was cool and we sat (on purpose) by an open door., so I was doubly happy to have a cozy outfit!</p> <p>For JenniNZ -- this skirt will still fit me as my weight shifts, so I'm looking forward to getting more than one wear.</p> <p>I wore: <ul> <li>knit skirt (Winners this year)</li> <li>sweater (Only via a local garden centre's boutique)</li> <li>burgundy oxfords (Ecco)</li> <li>I also wound up bringing a cream scarf with a soft floral pattern for extra warmth if needed (and I did need it from time to time) -- but I forgot to photograph it and I have no energy for more photos.</li> </ul> Comments and suggestions for future improvements always welcome. Sorry for two beige-heavy outfits in a a row! Will shake things up tomorrow.</p> <p>Thanks for looking! </p>
