I think this is a great outfit. And really suitable for the event you were attending.

Which type of scarves do you guy suggests? Infinity, square or any type will do? I though about adding a scarf once I crossed my doorstep, but I was afraid of adding yet another texture to this outfit (specially because the white shirt has a little sparkle to it; I am not sure if you can see the metallic grey mixed in the white fabric)

I have two all-winter white scarves: a long wave-stitch wool one and a pashmina. Purples would also be available: a patterned in orange, purple and dark blue silk scarf or another pashmina, with a geometric pattern in purple, navy and forest green.

@lyn*: I am not that courageous to do a stand-up. I was watching it. We call it Kabarett around here and its difference from the usual stand-up is that it always includes music and song parodies. This was the guy I was watching: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3OUVdKUTGU. (Since it's in German, a little clarification might be in order. This routine is an ode to a hotel room mini-bar and how their little bottles/little snacks help the narrator to happily pass the time.)

@Suz: after a 6-month-long winter with buckets of snow, 17 Celsius was surely something to prompt one to go dancing in the streets saying "Yay-yay-yay"! Springs around here tend to be warmer (around 20-23 Celsius), but temperatures are taking longer to rise this year... so we have the all-too-usual wind and somewhat Autumn temperatures at the moment.

Thanks everyone for the input!

I love this! The textures are great, and the shoes are pretty. I also love that you told us the temperature. It's so important, sometimes, when making judgements about what to wear and whether it's appropriate!

Of course where I live 17 is not so bad! Or so we tell ourselves. Otherwise, we'd hardly ever get to wear anything other than puffer coats.

Do you do stand up? Or were you watching it?

Regardless; I think a warm scarf would be a nice functional and textural addition!

I cheated: below this boxy fuzzy shirt, I wore a stretchy, white cotton camisole. Since I didn't spend much time outdoors (just parking and walking to the venue), I was fine. :-)

I get cold easily... so I guess I would have wished for warmer layers (a scarf maybe?) had I stayed outdoors.

What's your verdict on this outfit? The event was on a ran-down artsy venue. Spring temperature outside: 17 Celsius.

https://picasaweb.google.com/l.....directlink
https://picasaweb.google.com/l.....directlink
