I would just go and buy whatever I felt like buying on that day (it didn't help that my school was right next to Barcelona's city center, where all the major stores are). These days, however, I am on a tighter budget and trying to focus on what I really *need*, so I only get what I feel I lack. Say, one day I realize most of my socks are in bad condition, I go get five pairs, or if I feel like I don't have enough t-shirts that make me happy, I go and buy some, but I don't buy stuff I haven't previously thought about. </p> <p><b>Ornella</b>, I knooow but some of you pull off really cool looks every day and I feel like I am always repeating the same outfits and patterns. I do feel self-conscious when I see these fashion-bloggers pulling off the most incredible outfits with:<br />a) Model-like measurements<br />b) Hollywood star budgets (ok, maybe not that much, but def. not <i>my</i> budget) and wardrobe space<br />c) Cabs &amp; Limousines to commute<br />I know it's a bit pathetic but they make me feel a bit jealous and like I will never be able to pull that off, no matter what.</p> <p><b>Astrid</b>, thanks, I am on a tight budget, as I guess most people our age are. Maybe you might want to check on the skinnies, they are from H&amp;M, very inexpensive and quite comfy. They are higher in the rise and do not gap at the waist. And I post my stuff even when I think they might be blah, hoping that someone will see some sense in them too.</p> <p>I've unsubscribed from most blogs I used to follow because I find them too "dress up for the blog post only" sort of thing. Yesterday I went shopping for some new long-sleeved t-shirts, since I was really lacking in that department. I got five different tops, two with patterns, two basic tees with some cute neckline detail and this one, which has little metal balls stitched on the front. I really wanted cuter tees since I usually go for really basic tops. </p> <p>The skinnies are a dark burgundy and the boots are new, black and combat Oh, and I carried the denim jacket but never put it on since it's still too hot. And it's almost November!!! </p>
