True fit and flare shape. Deep but not too deep v neckline. </p> <p>The sizing is also forgiving. It's true to size but in addition to a back zipper there's hidden elastic at waist, and the fabric is very soft, so not one that you can't wear if you aren't exactly shaped like the dress. It's made of polyester, feels like silk chiffon. A high quality synthetic. Very, very lightweight fabric. It has a built in, light lining. Oh, and it has pockets. </p> <p>The print is really kind of tie-dye like. So imagine you took super saturated cobalt blue and almost neon coral/orange paint, and spilled the cobalt everywhere as a base, and dropped the coral paint on top of it. The coral fans out in wide, swirly, watery droplets almost like abstract flower petals. There is a tiny bit of bleeding at the edges where the colors blend together, but overall the colors are not mixed, they lay on top of each other in bold and distinct shades. Met up with a friend for high tea at Seattle's Queen Mary Tea Room. I wore a cobalt blue and coral watercolor/tie dye print fit and flare dress with ruched shoulders and a nice V neck, paired with a double strand of coral beads and silver sandals.<br /> As a change from my beloved emerald specs, I'm wearing my bronze titanium racecar-inspired pair that is bright chartreuse on the inside of the frames. </p> <p>Tonight we have an informal reception celebrating the marriage of two friends who recently got hitched in a private international ceremony, so this dress will carry me through the day. I'll be overdressed tonight, but who cares; they're used to Kari=dresses. </p>
