You've unknowingly described an actual "thing" - second sock syndrome. I like double points, but knit both at the same time, on two sets of needles - a little on this one, then a little on that one, and mark counted rows with safety pins, so they do turn out the same size. Other people knit both together on super long circular needles. DonnaF's Valentine's Day challenge was to wear any color even remotely red, but no grey or black. The second part was hard! Everything I have is grey!</p> <p>I knit this brick red sweater probably 25 years ago. It is a top down sweater. The yarn was Italian, with bobbles every so often. I also knit my socks. The rest is bf jeans, navy Timberland boots, and a turtleneck shirt. </p>
