Our church has arctic air conditioning set for men in suits, I think. It is cool outside at 8am too. Today I wore a cardi to match my dress plus a doubled scarf. If one gets there late and has to sit on the outer rim where the air conditioning vents are, one needs boots or something to prevent frozen feet. Our unseasonably hot weather has been in the 90'sF over the average low 80's. No humidity and nights in the 50-60's. We’ve had some humidity, too, with a thunderstorm last night, and a short rain shower this morning. We’re really not used to that.</p> <p>#1) I wore this for dinner and our local community theater. I thought it looked good, but wasn’t at all successful for dinner. Although we had reservations, we were seated outside in the heat. By the end of dinner I was completely stuck to the chair. The show was great, if a little too long. It was series of mini plays, almost skits, chosen by the audience out of a hat. For example, one was about a substitute teacher at Hogwarts, and another was a memorial service for Han Solo, with Chewy giving the eulogy. </p> <p>BTW, I almost wore a dress, but the other couple was even more casual than us, with my friend wearing shorts. She melted, too.</p> <p>Vince Camuto top, Lee crops, Bernardo sandals, Tignanello bag.</p> <p>#2) For church. I have a pink bag, but it looks bad with this top, so I went with baby blue. I’m a greeter again, and will be welcoming everyone as they come in the door.</p> <p> Charter Club top, Style &amp; Co skirt, Splendid sandals, Furla bag.</p> <p>What do you think?
