For that reason, I could have gotten it fixed, but at a cost of about $800! Sheesh! </p> <p>Fortunately, I did all the right things right away, just by instinct -- which I found out by googling it after I did those things! Unplug, power down, wipe/blot all the water off that I could get to, and turn it upside down so any water inside the keyboard could run out. My Mac guy told me to do the rice thing too. I think this is one of those things that could easily go either way, so I'm hoping I'm one of the "lucky" ones. I am going to have my Mac guy open it up and take a look after it's dried out, even if it powers on OK, because I understand that the dampness can cause corrosion that may lead to long-term problems, even if it works initially. Kicking myself because I am normally extremely careful about this, but I was multitasking on two computers.</p> <p>Then, while running out to a store to buy aforementioned rice, a truck nearly ran me off the street and I ran over a median curb. Another driver saw it and stopped to help, and so far the car seems ok but it really shook me up!</p> <p>Then, after procuring the rice (this darn rice better do the trick!) and returning to my studio, I looked down and realized one of my shirt buttons had come undone. I'm wondering if the checkout guy in the grocery store got a good gander at my bra! </p> <p>Outfit wise, I thought I'd try something different today. Rolled up my white jeans and wore my sale Frye booties that the DC YLFers might remember me picking up a while back. Did a half-tuck with an old plaid button-front, and added matchy belt and cross body. Hopefully this outfit is not as disastrous as my day was! </p> <p>Fortunately, I have chocolate here. Appropriately enough, Butterfingers. </p>
