The concert was fantastic — also a little emotional for me. I have a lot of memories associated with Roxy songs, and let’s face it, they’re in their 70s now and probably won’t tour again. Bryan Ferry is still suave as heck but his voice is nowhere near as strong as it used to be. Andy Mackey still kills it on sax, and Manzanera on guitar. Big huge fan here. </p> <p>St Vincent (Annie Clark) is a creative force. I love how fearless she is, and what a powerful performer. This was the third time I’ve seen her and she’s always reinventing and evolving. The first time I saw her was the tour she did with David Byrne, who is one of my biggest musical heroes. </p> <p>The outfit was fun to wear. The jacket was a last-minute addition but came in handy a couple of times. It doesn’t match the boots at all but the vibe works. They’re so far apart and not much of the boot shows with these pants so it was all good.
