I do like some variety and did wash my beach walking top later that day, got it dry and wore it the next evening for the river cruise and dinner. There were other options. I have traveled with less, I've done 2 weeks in Japan with only 1 carry on, but that's not my preference.</p> <p>For business travel I rarely use a checked bag because dealing with lost luggage is never ideal, but especially when I'm rushing to a meeting directly from the airport. I went on a three week vacation that included a wedding, a symphony, an opera, and six broadway plays at night with travel, art museums, walks in the park, and a ferry boat cruise during the days, and I only took carry on. So her, her husband, us, and 2 other couples who are their friends. It was a good test of the holiday packing discussed on the forum recently. My SIL has a huge wardrobe and I knew she would bring a large bag. Another of the women had posted “My bag is stressing me out! If I change every 2 hours it’s to use up the clothes!”<br /> The final woman responded “You can wear something twice!”<br /> The final woman and I brought moderate sized suitcases but the other two brought huge ones. I did choose the larger of my 2 options :)<br /> Not missing anything so far. Lovely resort with beautiful pool, beach a short walk away. The township of Port Douglas is a shortish shuttle ride away. We have done a Sunday market, shopping, dinners, doing a river cruise this evening.<br /> Veronika Maine top, Ezibuy shorts, I Love Billy sandals. Thanks for looking. </p>
