The long inverted bob I had before was pretty high maintenance and required regular cuts.</p> <p>Sharon - Good point about volume ... I dislike volume around my face (makes my chubby face look even more bigger). So I usually ask the hairdresser to give me a cut where the hair falls straighter and not poofier. So I don't do it often, although I love it!</p> <p>My hairdresser tells me I could afford to go without a haircut for 6 months with longer hair. I am all for it ... Atleast one thing off my head! Literally. I am surely lucky in the hair department :). But the fullness also makes it harder to wash and dry. Which is why we work on reducing the volume at every session. It has finally arrived in this land of permanent sunshine! &nbsp;Not that I dislike sunshine .... just that I was tired sick dressing for the summer.</p> <p>So, here is my first outfit for our winter, worn for the morning school run. &nbsp;I was inspired by Angie's recent plaid shirt and BFs outfit. &nbsp;So here's my version.</p> <p>I am wearing my favorite BFs (F&amp;F) with my new favorite plaid BF shirt (Newlook/tucking is a challenge with this one!). &nbsp;Another favorite cut out buckled boots (F21/last winter), cognac skinny belt and white studded handbag (Steve Madden)&nbsp;completed the outfit. &nbsp;I topped the outfit with my well loved drapey faux leather&nbsp;vest (Newlook/last winter). &nbsp;An outfit with all of my favorites ... Happiness factor was high, although I look like I gained a few pounds overnight! &nbsp;</p> <p>My hair was not behaving either .... but hey ... can't expect such a&nbsp;low maintenance hair to behave everyday ... it does well most of the days&nbsp;:) &nbsp;All my&nbsp;WIWs have&nbsp;my throw and go, air-dried&nbsp;hair. &nbsp;On that topic .... I wonder what to do with my hair now that the back&nbsp;has grown past my shoulders as well. &nbsp;My 6 yr old&nbsp;DS1 requested that I *please* keep my hair long because he loves it that way! &nbsp;Hmm .....
