First year attending. I wanted to go elevated comfortable. My holiday sweater never got knit; I lost inspiration for some reason. Maybe next year!&nbsp;</p> <p>Blouse is new. Old Navy had one of their huge "additional 30% off 40%" type sales. I saw the print and colors and I simply could not resist! I have a thing for bishop sleeves and poet/boho type blouses. And well, I bit hard into this bittersweet pastry of a blouse. It's gorgeous colors; the print is just right, and doesn't give me "retirement home grandma" vibes like some prints do on me. Bonus: it actually fits really well. It lacks waist shaping, and yet, the hip-length hem somehow makes it much more wearable than the <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/help-me-with-new-blouse">other print blouse</a> I asked about this week. So, I'm noting 2-3" above hip crease is a good proportion for me. It's just enough length to do a half-tuck; probably just the right length to wear untucked and belted.</p> <p>Is this blouse or silhouette anything extra special on me? Probably not. I've come to recognize that lately. I probably can wear more stylized tops and it be better for me.&nbsp;But I like how easy it is to wear. And I just can't resist a good print.&nbsp;</p> <p>Mixing prints big time! Large floral blouse with leopard print shoes (not pictured as I don’t wear shoes in the house and we haven’t left yet). AND then my handknit striped lace cowl and hat. AND A bright, frosty warm red lipstick. &nbsp;Lots of pattern and color! This feels riotous and yet fun. I almost toned it down with a plain solid chocolate hat.
