Sometimes adding a belt and letting the hem of the top ride just above the buckle works best with heavier knits. The high contrast does rather cut you in half, but the relaxed and fluid fit of the top somehow mitigates that for me. I'm not sure why. Maybe it just gives off that "flattering enough" vibe. And I really like it faux tucked! What bothered you about that option? When I put on this outfit this morning my first thought was that the top hits me at the wrong spot and is stumpifying. I briefly though about trying it with some light colored trousers but instead decided it was good enough. So my question is: did I implement any of Angie's rules to make it flattering enough?
