Evidently terra-cotta in various forms is my colour of the season, and I'm quite happy about that. It's a warm-weather colour capsule I've been wanting to build for a couple years and the right pieces are finally turning up.</p> <p>I think it's true that this outfit has a Euro vibe, and more relaxed-elegance than my average cold or transitional weather outfit. Like Angie, I run cold and dressing for hot weather is my favorite. It's 80+ degrees the past two days and I'm loving it even though it's unseasonably early. My climate -- or my intolerance of cold temperatures -- means that I have very distinct summer and winter styles. If I write an avatar post, I'll have to hash that out some more.&nbsp;</p> <p>The sandals were *so* worth the wait. The shorts are linen Florence Shorts from the big Elizabeth Suzann sample sale (I also got a plum colored jersey tank top, which I’ll show soon). The sandals are from a small company in Romania called <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.tikkishoes.com/adult-sandals/">Tikki</a>. Due to the pandemic, it took forever for them to pass through customs. They just arrived at my house in early May, and I breathed a huge sigh of relief that they weren’t lost in transit. The top is from Only Child; it matches <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/my-summer-skirts">the skirt I wrote about</a> the other day. I feel very put-together for someone with nowhere to go but the mailbox! </p>
