The rise -- I think it's 9" -- is about the lowest I like to go, but they are so comfortable and versatile. Between the 7/8 length and the full-length, plus petite/regular/tall, I think there's an inseam for almost everyone. Not exactly energy efficient, but it's nice not having to defrost the car in the morning. Plus, I drive a Prius and it heats up remarkably fast (much faster than our Subaru, which I find a bit ironic).&nbsp;I'll also say, I rarely get my hair sopping wet in the shower because I only shampoo about once a week. The Lucie top is nice quality (I tried it in black; the V was too low for me). If I wash it, I air dry it in the car, so it's inevitably damp when I'm in the house and wanting to take a picture.&nbsp;</p> <p>Boden Richmond pants, new Madewell sweater from earlier this fall, Loft silk scarf from a couple springs ago, trusty Thursday boots. The scarf takes this a bit out of my usual. </p> <p>Really liking this navy/gold or navy/amber combo! Very tempted by the Boden bird-print blouse in these colours. Does anyone have experience with this silk-viscose blend? They have couple of velvet pieces with a similar print, but the scattered pattern would be much better on me than the more orderly one. </p>
