When I can schedule a mani or a pedi I love it! My daughter is the manager of a local spa and also an aesthetician and nail tech. I love her pampering touch, but fitting in extra time for appointments is challenging. Doing my own nails isn’t as much fun, but it is more time efficient. My process sounds very similar to yours, but I must be letting my nails dry longer than necessary between steps because I usually plan on an hour. I do my nails usually in the evening, use a dip-in polish remover, then a coat of transparent base and two coats of colour. Then, and that is the trick for me, a good layer of FAST DRYING transparent top coat. I use the ESSIE “Good to go” top coat. It is magical. And the whole procedure takes 15-20 minutes maybe. It gets dry in a few minutes time and lasts almost a week. By 11:00 the jacket was hanging on th back of my chair.<br /> Suntiger, you prepared well. We get lots of heat and humidity, but this summer was one for the record books.
