Your braid doesn't look too cutesy.</p> <p>As another one without super thick hair, I'll share my braid 'plumping'&nbsp;strategy from my long hair days: once my hair was braided, I would gently tug horizontally on each piece of the braid, which loosened up the hair &amp; made the braid look much wider. Basically, instead of having the braid be evenly thick all around, I made it wider &amp; 'flatter,' since people really only see it from the front or back vs the side. Not that you need to do this, but since you mentioned it in your post, it might be an easy fix! I think it looks cooler from the back, but is it too cutesy from the front? &nbsp;I wish I had more hair! </p>
