I apologize in advance if some of my own minimal preferences have an impact on my sections. But here goes...

First, you have some lovely sweaters -- #6 and #9 are really great.

Love #2. Feels contemporary and effortless. But definitely has more of an edge than the lane you usually drive in (not sure if this is true or not) based on the other images.

#5 - I enjoy the black exposed under-layer and black shoes. Feels interesting and unexpected. Very fresh. That brightness/boldness of the orange feels especially right for you. I remember seeing some of those bright tones in floral prints from a previous post and I really think they suit you -- especially paired with black.

#13 - Like the blue boots with this. Just gives it a little something special (in fact that little something special/unexpected is what really stands out in some of your outfits, a little color, an interesting layer, a dramatic sweater hem, preppy with a strong dose of black).

I also need to say that your pencil skirt with pattern mixing is also one of my favorites -- it slipped my mind in your earlier post but I keep on remembering that outfit. Now that's a bit scary that one of your outfits is still lingering in my consciousness. YLF is a frightening place.

So another snow day and since I'm already snug and cozy at the computer I thought I'd give February a go...after this I don't have archives so any WIW in the future will not be so in-depth. Again, I feel like this is a good introduction to my style and direction so y'all know where I'm coming from when I post comments or questions...and pretty much a continuation of January- making the best of a limited wardrobe and freezing weather!

I'm noticing that I am in fact wearing my individual pieces quite often, so feel like I'm getting value, though I try not to do CPWs except in extreme circumstances. I thought I wore 75%+ black but am pleasantly surprised to realize I'm only really at around 50%. I guess I just "read" as all-black to others.

Thoughts on the photos as I develop my eye...
#2: I like the idea of this but this is one circumstance of looking better than I felt. I tried to go a bit edgy here, but I realize I just don't like vests and the dress was a little too poor quality, so bodycon in a bad way.
#4: For a freezing cold day. Wool sweater and wool pants, heavy socks and boots. Functionally it works and I feel it looked better irl than the photo, but short of fab.
#6: I bought this sweater bc a random dressing room stranger raved about how it looked on me. Again, I liked the idea but wasn't convinced. Her comment convinced me but now I think it looks like a full-torso neck brace.
#7-8: Have been seeking a plaid shirt to no avail. Stole DHs for Sunday errands. I like it a lot and have tried to commandeer it. He's not having it.
#10: Playing with the wider leg pant. More conservative and work-ish. Is ok for some days in office.
#11-12: Wasn't sure about color combo but ended up loving it.
#13-17: layering combos, trying to be work appropriate in a freezing office.
#18-19: using Angie's combos "navy, peach & brown" and "dark red & light blue" as inspiration pulled this color combo together. I like the colors together. But not on me.
#20-21: Trying for modern classic pattern mixing.

THanks for looking and appreciate any thoughts/feedback!
