These are all great looks! Fun to see your hair style change, too. I like the way you wear color, your great choice of accessories and footwear to complement the outfits, and the fantastic fit of your clothes. Thanks for posting!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement and kind words! I will post more.

Great suggestions on the t-shirt problem. I have a bunch of square cubbies in my closet, so will try a combo of new folding and rolling and see what works best at keeping the wrinkles at bay. I'll keep hanging my favorites and the ones that seem to wrinkle the most.

tr3kkie9rl - Intrigued by the retail fold...looking forward to trying that.

Joy - Outfit 3 is actually a skirt and shirt combo. The shirt is black lace with a chartreuse underlay, the skirt is black with a subtle white pattern in a jersey material. The necklace is an awesome iridescent dark green and black. I really need a better spot with more light! Maybe for the future I can also shoot just the clothes in a room with more light/no mirror.

Shevia - The pixie is most recent...actually right now it is kind of in-between but only because I haven't had a chance to get a cut that I need...not used to NEEDING to get my hair cut every 6-8 weeks. But I love the pixie and I think I'll stick with that for a while. Way easier to deal with day-to-day...wash and go.

What lovely outfits! I especially love the dark red moto jacket - a beautiful and versatile piece. Glad you were able to fix that pesky lining problem

In #1 the collar of that top is so cool. And the dress in #3 is WOW

Try doing the retail fold I like this because then I can stack them in a square cubby and still see what's on the shirt so I don't have to dig through. I have about 100 band t shirts (not an exaggeration) and this is my favorite way to store them. I was rolling for a while, but that seemed to wrinkle them much worse.

These outfits are all really nice and you look so well put together. What stands out most to me is how well balanced the outfits are, just the right amount of color, just the right accessories, and the layers complement each other.
I don't wear many t shirts these day and the ones I do are synthetic, for exercising. When I wore cottons one, I used to fold the torso only one in half, and lay the sleeves diagonally across the back, so they were wide, but very flat to store. I turn my sweaters inside out before I fold and store them. If the crease at all, they quickly smooth out with wear.

Welcome! I relate both to your thrifting and your wrinkley tees. Like Summer, I have better luck rolling them. Love your salvaged red jacket! Which way is your hair now?

I always hang up my T shirts. Actually I hang up everything except delicate sweaters. That way they don't wrinkle and I can see things better. Well I don't hang up work out gear and things like that.

I can see why these were favorites. YLF! My favorite is 2 as that is a wonderful shade of red. Please continue to post your outfits. I am inspired to try a version of some of these. Is #3 a black lace dress?

So, I have been taking outfit photos off and on since joining here, but have put off posting anything, thinking I'll find a better place to photograph...more light, better background, etc. Also taking outfit photos has made me realize that folding my t-shirts onto shelves makes them pretty wrinkled when I pull them out...which I didn't notice until looking at the photos later. I should probably shift to hanging everything but sweaters.

In going through my pictures from last year, I thought I'd finally share some of my favorites. Most are office wear (I work in a pretty casual office where jeans are fine), but I have one of my favorite weekend "uniforms" in there: jeans with knee high boots, a flowy tee and an open cardigan.

Everything is thrifted except the shoes. The Coldwater Creek soft red moto jacket still had original tags on when I bought it, and the little theft-deterrent device was annoyingly stuck through the sleeve so I couldn't try it on properly in the store. When I got it home I realized that the jacket must be a second, because the lining was sewn into the sleeve all twisted, so it was still impossible to get on. Sneaky! So, I had to tear out the seams and re-sew the lining. It now fits great (whew!), and it has been a real workhorse jacket all winter...I must have worn it at least once a week. So comfy!

I've had a good time lurking around the forum this past year, and I've learned a lot from reading. Time to step it up and start contributing :)

Feedback welcome, I'm here to learn and be inspired.

And if anyone has tips for folding t-shirts so they don't wrinkle so badly, I'm all ears!
