I’m glad that the ponte pants get the thumbs up--I didn’t think “painted on” when I saw the model but I think that’s how they might look on me if they were any tighter. I think the fabrication on the ponte pants is thick enough and the fit generous enough that I can wear them as pants--with sweaters and blousey tops. I have one other pair of knit pants but they are really leggings and I only wore them with tunics. The fit on these is definitely different. The looseness doesn't bother me, I just wondered if they look sloppy. (I don't see a single wrinkle on the model. )The rise is going to take a little getting used to--definitely not going to have to hike these up as the day progresses. My other option is a coated jean (looks like leather, I think)--I'm not 100% sure about those either. I will probably post them tomorrow.
