I also think the jeans should be unrolled and a different top. It is difficult when you want to use navy. Maybe if you just wear a navy scarf with a different top.

Susie, I agree with others about proportions of the two items together. I also think it's better to unroll the jeans completely, even if there is a bit of gathering (which is fashionable anyway). Unless the pants drag to the floor. In which case either wear a little heel, or you could fold the hem inwards and use a magic tape to hold it there.

The sweater is fantastic on you, and I'm sure paired with something else it would look awesome.

Susie: I like the sweater. It's the proportion of the sweater with the jeans, and perhaps the camera angle, that people are noticing. I'd love to see this sweater with a skirt or a pair of bootcuts. It might work well with a woven, collared shirt layered underneath.

I'm not a petit-fleur, and I brazenly wear bold stripes, as does Transconna Shannon. Boyfriends don't seem to come with training manuals, but they sure are fun!

Thank you for that insight. I did wonder about the stripes so it's good to know if they look too wide.

I like the color combo, but I agree the sweater doesn't match in slouchiness with the jeans.

Love the bag, jeans & shoes. I would try a different top too - the stripes on this one look too wide imo.

Hi Susie, I wouldn't try to match the shoes as they are a neutral colour.
I think a less fitted sweater would be great with the B.F. s so you can show off the semi-tucking and feature the belt area even more.
The casual bag hits the spot and adds some brightness to your outfit too.

Following Angie's lead, I wanted to wear the bf's unrolled but there was too much slouch so I rolled them just once. This is the first time to wear the navy oxfords. I don't have much navy so I tried this navy/ green sweater. The belt i's pewter leather, as is the bag.

What do you think? Honest opinions welcome!
