I used to consider Rieker (Suz has beautiful sandals), Ara (Shannon has booties) or even&nbsp;Joseph Siebel (a lot of ladies have something) out of my interest zone. Too much in the comfort-going on-frump spectrum. Then I realised that in every brand there is something worth considering which can fit various style personas.</p> <p>However, what I never questioned was the quality of German made products. This goes for shoes, clothes, cars and recently furniture. It really is amazing to get to know the culture this way. People here care about quality so much and are ready to pay for it. Sometimes this quality goes hand in hand with functionality at the expense of the modern&nbsp;design, but careful eye will find products that bridge all these successfully.</p> <p>To answer the question about the brand of my new shoes, they are by sOliver. It's primarily clothing brand.&nbsp;I don't know how much they are globally present, but it's a huge brand here and in many European countries. Yesterday I saw that the shop I bought them in was closing down. It’s always sad when the shop closes.&nbsp;</p> <p>I checked the remaining stock somewhat sad - the shop is part of my personal history after all.&nbsp;I managed to find what’s likely to be my staple shoe style for a long while - low wedged shoes with ankle straps. I already owe slightly dressier black pair which you have seen in my WIWs. These shoes are very dark grey and&nbsp;have slightly more casual vibe (exposed stitching, chunkier buckle), making them equally good option for both skirts. Comfortable from the first wear, leather, deeply discounted. Win win. Shame about the shop. I hope the competent salesladies from there&nbsp;won't be on the job market&nbsp;for too long.</p> <p>Adding the second photo to show the colour of the top better.</p> <p>Comments, suggestions and spanners all welcome :-)</p>
