Congratulations of embracing your body type! BF jeans are very flattering for us pears and you are another proof of it It is hard to see without a full length shot but what I can see looks good (and this top color is very nice on you).
As you asked for possible tweaks this is what I would try:
- the shoes are fun and no wonder you want to showcase them. Try to roll your jeans a bit higher if you can - it may create a more flattering break on the leg;
- semi tuck is pear's best friend so you are on the right track here. I would try to semi-tuck a longer top to create a stronger curve on the sides. I find it does wonders to the proportions!

I am a fellow pear shape and I hear you with hiding or showcasing a pear shape. I think both work, it all depends on one's mood. This shows off your shape, but not too much of it. Nice job! The length of the cardigan really works for me. I try to look for high waist or very long (almost mid thigh) lengths so they do not cut my pear shape in half.

I love your shoes. I envy anyone that can wear heels. I had to stop about 5 years ago. They look great with your jeans. Love BF jeans. They are the best jeans ever. My DH thinks they are the sexiest thing going. I agree.

I have not done the faux tuck, etc. I like it on others and it looks great on you.

well, I just love this on you! First off, I have to comment on the specs, which are gorgeous, and absolutely perfect with the brown details of belt and shoes and the rich shade of the top. It all works together brilliantly with your hair when you throw on the topper. And I agree that the jeans glide just "so." I also have fuller thighs (though I'm not a true pear). But I do know the frustrations of getting those proportions right because my legs are on the short side. You look terrific in this!

The biggest win is your happiness factor -- it's no good to dress with perfect proportions only to feel "blah." I think the boyfriend silhouette handles fuller thighs beautifully (I should know -- since I wear my own pair every day). The shoes are great, cheeky and fab. Remember that the last photo appears to be shot from a low angle -- this will not be the most flattering view. Camera angles can make a huge difference!

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the input. I know it would have been easier with full length pictures. When I finally made it home and tried to take some in the mirror, they came out awful, which made me wonder if my view of it in real life was that wrong... But sometimes the actual look just does not translate well in photos. I think that the truth is somewhere in the middle. It really isn't the most flattering look but also was not as horrible as the photos.

E, Scarlett, Angie and Alaskagirl - thank you guys for the vote of confidence. That helped so much, even though I couldn't give you the full perspective.

Unfrumped: I SO appreciate your helpful advise. I feel confident with the looks I have perfected over the years, but when it comes to some of the newer styles, I feel like a fish out of water. I tend to shy away from even trying things that don't match up to the formula in my head. My own rules for dressing my body have been so strict that it is really hard to even try new things. I bought a new top today that I tried on with most of my jeans, and I will post those photos. I really hope that you will take a look and tell me what you think.

I have similar pants fit issues. To me the key is for pants to be curvy in ghe RIGHT places so they skim ove my widest parts and don't suck in in odd places. From what I see yours do a great job of giving you a nice easy, skimming fit. The shoes are great for Lehmberg lengthening-- I can only wear a heel for date night and then not even so high!
For tweaks, I would try these things just to see what you thin- may or may not be an inprovement:
You could roll the jeans down a tad lower so are above shoe strap but at the lowest possible point.
I love your semi- tuck. Based on what im seeing in Angie's examples, you can use even more boxy-fluid- volume in your knit top, if you have something
already, or experiment with some try- ons in inexpensive knitwear to see who's got the best sizing, drape, etc.
also experiment with a cardi with more of a shoulder or a more structured jacket worn open.
These are basically things I am trying now as I SYC and try to make some spring outfits ahead of time. . I find proportions hard , and things I thought would work don't always, but if I try on some things I didn't figure on, then that may work!

Now that there's a lower half shot, I think it works! My widest part is lower too, at the tops of my thighs vs hip bones & I wear fitted trousers all of the time & just enjoy the curve. The lower curve reminds me of stringed instruments, actually, so I've always been fond of it (I was a violinist in school & now I'm going to start taking lessons again).

I chop my legs up all of the time (visually of course, heehee), and I get comments on the forum that I must have long legs to pull it off. But I actually have proportionally short legs, so after pondering that mystery I've decided some bodies just look better with more 'breaks' than others. I don't see any problems with this proportion on you, I think it works quite well for the casual look you were aiming for, but as a disclaimer I'm not 'sensitive' to leg lengthening/shortening looks.

Which is a long way to say, go forth and be confident! hehe

Or trying to...

I had to go in to work today to help out with a training, and after that, it is off to my boss's son's birthday party. I wanted to look casual, but put together, and have a little fun with things... so I made the conscious decision to not camouflage the pear. I tried to make the look as flattering as possible, but there is no hiding these thighs in this look. All things considered, I am happy enough in the outfit that I think it was worth it. Once I got to the training, they didn't need me other than for a few technical difficulties, so I retreated to my office for my own little photo shoot. I could not get a full length picture without help (and thought they would frown on me interrupting the meeting to recruit a photographer) so you'll have to look at the detail pic to see the shoes, which IMHO is the best part of the outfit. I would love any suggestions on making this better or trying something new with any part of the outfit. You all have such wonderful insights and suggestions,,, I love being challenged to do better and change what isn't working,

ETA: I finally managed to get a shot of the bottom half. Seeing the photo, I'm not thrilled with the proportions and choppiness of the leg line... But still so in love with the shoes that it may be worth it. (?)
