We're all compromising somehow, lol! </p> <p>Don't worry, I get it - I ironically don't like big cities either (we didn't even take MrZ to see London when he visited the UK, &amp; he wasn't bothered lol). But Hong Kong is actually *a lot* more than the densely packed city part! </p> <p>I'd recommend visiting the outlying islands (like Cheng Chau &amp; Lamma), hiking the parts of Hong Kong island that are beyond the MTR line, camping in Sai Kung, &amp; even staying in one of the quieter hotels in New Territories. Indeed, we ate out at a quiet cafe, then took the ferry across the harbour (photos #1 &amp; #2) to check out some museums (pro tip for anyone planning to visit HK: quite a few of the museums have free entry on Wednesdays)! </p> <p>All in all, I think I'm finally finding my sweet spot with my style - aligning my natural magpie inclinations to what suits me (Dark Autumn) &amp; my lifestyle (including my spouse lol - photo #7 is how I wore my shalwar kameez, but actually #8 &amp; #9 is the *front*. I deliberately wore it backwards because MrZ doesn't like anything 'too shiny' or that the part with the pearls looks like a vest/ waistcoat. The things we do for love, eh? lol!) </p>
