Great rendering of the ensemble into your style. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-easy-avant-garde-ensemble#post-1644995 Fri, 15 Apr 2016 16:21:11 +0000 Diana 1644995@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>When I first saw today's ensemble, I immediately thought to myself that I have everything but the boxy, cropped top.&nbsp; (I tend more toward the drapey avant-garde myself, as it works with my body a lot more easily).&nbsp; But then I remembered that I had this boxy white Loft top that had been sitting unworn in my closet for months, tags still on.&nbsp; I tried a while back to style it and came up completely empty.&nbsp; It seemed perfect for today's ensemble though, and I think I like how it's working out (although it still has some issues, like how I can't layer a jacket over it without something really strange looking happening at the neckline).&nbsp; I layered a nude tank underneath for a little warmth (the body of the top is a sweatshirt material, but the top part is cotton eyelet, so a bit drafty) and to prevent belly flashing with the low rise trousers.&nbsp; </p> <p>Paired with my slouchy tie-waist trousers (which I rolled up for the first time ever - don't know why that never occurred to me before) and teal patent oxfords.&nbsp; </p> <p>Thanks Angie for a very inspiring ensemble!&nbsp; I think I managed to both de-orphan this top and to find a new way to wear these trousers!&nbsp; =)</p> <p>(Loft top, Suoli trousers, Pretty Nana oxfords)</p> <p>ETA: Added a closeup of the pattern on the top.&nbsp; </p>
