Since sometime in college, I think? I've tried salons but don't have the patience to go through several dud haircuts and establish a good working relationship with a stylist, especially since I moved a lot in my 20s. Every time I have someone else cut my hair, I come home and tweak it so the professional cut itself ends up feeling like a waste. I really like this Athleta Sundown Sweatshirt: smooth inner face, not fuzzy, cut really nicely, not too tight at the bottom, sleeves loose enough to go over a lightweight long sleeve tee, and good colours! Purchased two in early March just before schools here shut down and have been so happy to have them. I wear them for a couple hours in the morning when I first get up, and then again before bed. Sometimes I wear them all day. </p> <p>This is a pretty typical dog walking get-up. I do a couple miles on a mix of dirt road and trail near my house most mornings and rarely see a soul. The big ski socks are because these particular leggings (Girlfriend Collective) are just cropped enough to leave my ankles chilly with regular crew or quarter socks. I'm wearing a merino tank top underneath and I layer jackets over it depending on weather: fleece and shell if it's cold and wet, lightweight puffy if it's cold and dry, puffy vest if it's not too cold. Once I get back indoors, I make breakfast, drink coffee, read, shower and change into what DS and I call "daytime clothes" -- either grubby gardening gear or jeans and a decent casual shirt for virtual teaching, depending on my schedule.</p> <p>Stay-at-home orders haven't really changed my hair game much. I'm a long-time DIYer and I'm in the middle of a grow-out anyway (from pixie to Cleopatra bob to lob over the past eighteen months or so). I'm being perhaps a bit lazier about trimming the ends than I would be in "normal life" but otherwise not so different. Once I get to shoulder length or so I might go back to straight-across bangs, but at this in-between length I prefer having them diagonal. I'm really sitting on my hands not to go for a deep side part and an undercut on one side just because I'm bored. </p>
