Today's outfit is fairly dystopian minimalism. DH is out of town, so the landlord and I have to get outside and get this property ready for the 23F temps that are coming tonight. The plumbing here is.... Well, it's janky at best; if I'm being honest, it's more like a rube goldberg nightmare of bits and bobs of pseudo-plumbing materials that the previous owner collected up from the curbsides on free day just before trash pickup. In short, we're anticipating problems and must do our best to minimize the damage. We don't want a repeat of last year's 4-day frozen pipe event where the only people who could properly flush a toilet were DH&amp;me because we have an RV and RVs have holding tanks that let us flush with bottled water.</p> <p>I digress.</p> <p>The jeans developed holes in the knees, so I had DH and friends take target practice at them. I've got fleece lined leggings under because that north wind is cold. Fleece lined sweatshirt, fleece lined vest, and the tactical boots (in the find) with thick wool socks inside them.</p> <p>Tomorrow, I'll be at work in this cold, so I'll be doing some dystopian maximalism with lots of layers of weird and gear LOL </p>
