I'll work on ways to take it up to killer and I suspect the wine skinnies, or perhaps the Kut Catherines if they work for me, could accomplish that. My style usually includes more overtly feminine pieces, like silky blouses or skirts. Unfortunately I couldn't lay my hands on the black and bronze silk scarf I had planned to wear over it as part of a neck lengthening strategy, but its ok, the sweater probably does enough talking all on its own.<br /> I kept the outfit very simple in light of the lurex top, and I realized I was abiding by Angie's guidelines for pairing ink blue with black. My new DKNY flared jeans wound up being the right length for my black patent loafers, and the sweater obviously adds the requisite dose of white. I was feeling unusually androgynous, so put on pearl and gold earrings to add a bit of femininity. And yes I know masculinity and my physique go together about as well as American Apparel and a convent. :p<br /> So what's the good word? Can this work or was it too simple? If so, my next stop is to pair the sweater with wine-coloured Skinnies. </p>
