And the sandals and bag are equally beautiful.&nbsp;</p> <p>I have similar reservations about many ankle strap shoes for myself, for similar reasons. I think we always tend to be harder on ourselves in these things.&nbsp;</p> <p>I would love to see these sandals teamed with a higher necked top. That might seem bizarre...but I have a feeling that part of what is skewing the feeling of proportions is that you have a relatively slender neck and short hair and that area is bare which minimizes it a bit. If you had a collar up there, I think that would play better with the visual weight of the sandals. Because your skin is darker, they read as bright -- and though not visually heavy, per se, they are more noticeable than your head/ neck area.&nbsp;</p> <p>This is just a hunch. I'm trying to work on posting my outfits whether I think they are great or not. So. Here's goes with my Sunday outfit. I love, love, love this dress but don't think it looks really good with the new shoes. I think my legs(not my best feature on any day) look a little stumpy. But I'm on Team Wear and wanted to wear my new white sandals so I did. also the sandals fit better than they look in the picture. (I have a tendency to curl my toes when I stand so that's what's going on here.) I also carried my Gap navy moto jacket for a layer against extra frigid air conditioning but to warm here to photograph. (I've linked the jacket style in finds but I wore the solid navy one.)</p> <p>Sveta suggested that I try a different angle with the lighting, so I am playing with that in this post as well. </p> <p>Faux wrap python dress.
