It's true that when you have a pant ending on the calf and a bootie that comes up the ankle there'll be the leg bit thing--sort of like whether you like the look of booties with midi skirts and bare legs. Also, you may be hoping to see a longer line--2/3 top and 1/3 below--so one thing I tried was more monochrome look. The white T tucked in is breaking that up.<br /> I would play with some different colors, tops/toppers. Try dark T and pants + light cropped topper (or something resembling); try darker but not black everything--maybe dark red or blue top. Try a shoe that shoes some top of your foot.
