But my skin is cool, and I generally keep warm shades away from my face. I do have one camel-colored cardigan but it would be difficult to swap the warm/cool halves of the outfit with my wardrobe. Wright, former American model and current purveyor of Parisian cashmere and style inspiration.</p> <p>I liked two things about this inspiration outfit: first, the color palette, which seems odd for a gal who's usually all about color, but we've also been watching Killing Eve lately and I was quite smitten with some beige and gray outfits that Carolyn (played by Fiona Shaw) wears in Season 3 -- see photo #2.</p> <p>Second, I think I liked the silhouette and just how cozy everything looks! I appreciate that LVW does not shy away from volume.</p> <p>My version:<br /> -medium-brown chinos. New to my wardrobe, yes, after *talking* about adding chinos to my wardrobe forever I finally did it. These are a bit darker and grayer brown than I was anticipating but I'm working with it.<br /> -light gray cowl neck tunic. Another piece that I usually wear with leggings (and I wear it a lot -- pls don't look too closely at how badly it needs to be de-pilled) but I'm glad to be able to switch it up, and this is probably more current anyway. I think the cowl gives some of the effect of the scarf in the inspo outfit.<br /> -added gray socks with a nordic print because of course I did.<br /> -brown kiltie fringe loafers. I bought these some years ago and promptly decided that I don't want to wear dark brown shoes so they languished in my closet while I intended to paint them burgundy but never got around to it. SO silly! I should just...wear them anyway! Maybe I'll paint them, maybe not, but at least they'll get used in the meantime. They're super comfortable. One of my few true classic pieces!<br /> -big charcoal cardi as outerwear. I don't think I quite nailed the color scheme of the inspiration photo but we work with what we have.<br /> -I like the way in the inspo photo the top half is gray and the bottom half is tan BUT she brings the tan up to the top of the outfit with her bag. My only tan bag is this woven leather one that I think of as my summer bag but I tried it here and...I think it works? Actually the texture mix is kind of cool?
