Where I live people predominantly wear neutrals but I gotta have colours!<br /> As for the shoes, yes, there are so many amazing shoes available.... but we must draw the line somewhere! I do have a pair of nude sandals that I will try with those dresses, but the shape of the particular sandals is a bit clunky so I’ll see how that goes. If you feel the shirt dress is too boxy, you can always belt it (even with a silk scarf if you want to keep the boho vibe going &amp; would find leather to be too restricting in hot weather). I don't think the bracelet clashes, but some wooden jewellery may help to bookend your hair whilst still looking boho too. </p> <p>The second dress is pretty too - lovely print and colours! I feel like the necklace gets a little lost in the pattern, though. Also, I don't know about you but, I don't like wearing necklaces in hot weather (unless over my clothes) because they tend to stick to sweat/ my skin. That might not be a problem for you, but I think earrings would look lovely with this dress as well </p> <p>I also agree with the others about the lighter footwear - espadrilles in a cotton, canvas or rope fabric would be a good fit for a boho, summery vibe. Ankle wraps may be too restricting in hot weather too, but it's up to you if you go for flat canvas (like TOMS) or a wedge rope heel style. Yes, as some suggested it may be nice to try either nude flats or metallic. Actually, I hadn’t considered metallic shoes at all so thank you for bringing that to my attention. It would be lovely to have some rose gold sandals....<br /> It’s nice to know that people like the colour, I like it, although I do feel like it’s very bright. As someone mentioned, dark periwinkle hasn’t been around in the shops for ages, in fact both these dresses are 4 seasons old. I have a dark periwinkle singlet that I thrifted too- although I’m still figuring out how to style that one. This forum is so helpful.
