They are a 5" inseam, for reference - I didn't think they were too short in general, just shorter than I would personally dare to wear! Ceit, I don't think the rise is too long, I think I just had my hip cocked funny to take the photo (I've gotta back up right to the edge of my bed to get a full-length photo from my mirror). I like the idea of a more 'done' top - I thought of pink which is my default bright color but I don't have one that fits right now! I really love the print (love all the ikat that's been around recently) and the boho or modern angles. The look was casual but still put-together and I received lots of compliments! I wore layered chain necklaces and bangles and I bet a cocktail ring or two. I believe I used a black fold-over clutch with studs and a wrist strap. It worked really well for a New Years Eve party and just a normal day out and about. Here's my contribution. I saw these shorts at Old Navy in the end of season clearance and almost didn't even try them on because I thought they were too short. But I think they look pretty good. They'll look even better once I get my legs waxed later this afternoon. as always feedback is welcomed. </p>
