Glad the heat finally calmed down over there ^^ </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-culottes-and-layers#post-1555605 Sat, 12 Sep 2015 00:39:37 +0000 Diana 1555605@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>The heat finally broke, so I took the opportunity to wear my new olive culottes and some layers.&nbsp; I paired the culottes with my handknit lace yoke top and my white jacket on top.&nbsp; Because both the top and the culottes are fluid, they looked best with a more fitted, structured topper.&nbsp; (I tried this first with my blush linen moto and it just looked sloppy.)&nbsp; Since it was a little chilly in the morning but not cold enough for a coat, I added an oversized, lightweight scarf as "outerwear."&nbsp; Silver gladiators on the feet.</p> <p>I really, really enjoyed wearing this, and not just because I've missed layering all summer (hooray for fall weather!).&nbsp; The culottes are super fun to wear!&nbsp; (And by the way, they did relax and stretch out a bit like I expected.)&nbsp; </p> <p>Which iteration do you prefer?&nbsp; Scarf+jacket, jacket, or just the top? </p> <p>(Level 99 culottes via Anthropologie, hand knit lace yoke on a Madewell tank, Greylin blazer, AT scarf, Naot gladiators). </p>
