The angle of the photo (I'm too close to the mirror) makes them look a bit longer than they actually are, but anyway ... The flare is pretty flared, so there is a nice kind of swishy feeling when you walk. They are a substantial stretch cotton with slant pockets that zipper closed. As a result they stay close fitting with a streamlined silhouette. Worn here with the workhorse blue reptile wedges and an olive JCrew sweater. </p>
