I survived so they will persevere.<br />This is a tricky style for me to wear as they can sit on hips and pouf unflatteringly. So I snapped these up for jeans alternative and a great item for beach coverup or hot summer days.&nbsp;<br />The H&amp;M ones run pretty TTS I'd say. &nbsp;JJ they have some room so might fit you could size up just in case.&nbsp;They have elastic waist, but also a&nbsp;drawstring to adjust. Suz - they are lightweight and soft (but not silky if that makes sense)&nbsp;and drapey, but not at all see through because of the pattern (if you hold them to the light you can see through them). It's almost like cotton lawn.&nbsp;They are my cheap alternative to the ones&nbsp;crazyone got in&nbsp;Boston. I also like they are full length on me with their little cuff but I suppose one could scrunch them up and adjust where the waist sits for different lengths. I tried several stripe tops but they were not quite right so in the end I went with a white top semi-tucked. The pants are not drop crotch but the print made them photograph as such. I went with closed toe shoes (metal toe ballet flats not the most fashion forward, but fun and practical for a day of swim lessons and grocery shopping) Added J Crew denim vest and Voila.
