I own three of their leather jackets. This one, the burnt orange one in the same style and a black moto peplum waist/belted one that looks a lot&nbsp;like one Burberry put out a few years ago.&nbsp;</p> <p>The leather on this one and the black one&nbsp;is very, very soft (like buttery lambskin) while the orange one is slightly thicker and stiffer in feel. Also, the coral and black&nbsp;ones had no tannery odor whatsoever (don't know if you've ever smelled leather from some of the Moroccan and Indian tanneries. The odor can be very, very strong and is pretty offensive to my highly sensitive nose. When you visit a Moroccan tannery they actually give you fresh mint to hold under your nose as you tour the place because the odor is so nasty). Sometimes airing them out for a couple of weeks does the trick and other times the tannery odor can be almost impossible to get out, especially if you have a hyper-sensitive sense of smell like I do.&nbsp;</p> <p>So those two had no tannery odor but the orange one did when I received it. It had also been packed folded poorly so the leather had creased awkwardly in a few spots (again, this wasn't the case with the coral and black ones). I let the orange one air for about two weeks and it still had that awful smell. So I used one of my best tricks --&nbsp;I put the jacket in the dryer for about 45 minutes&nbsp;on med/high heat with 3 fabric softener sheets (I checked it after 20 minutes but it needed longer). Then I took it out hot and used my hand to smooth out the wrinkles (this is actually how leather cleaners get wrinkles out of leather, they use a heat gun or hairdryer type of device).&nbsp;</p> <p>The fabric softener sheets did the trick on removing the tannery odor once and for all (thank goodness!)&nbsp;</p> <p>So the quality overall is good for the price point. It's nowhere near&nbsp;as good as a nice designer leather, like D-Squared, AllSaints&nbsp;or Acne, but it's comparable to many of the mid-range leather jackets&nbsp;out there in the $200-$500 range.&nbsp;Also, the sellers who sell the skin hub jackets often times put them on substantial sale.&nbsp;So I'd wait till they put them on major sale and then buy one if you're interested. I only paid $95 each,&nbsp;including free shipping, for both the coral and orange cropped jackets and only $104, including free shipping, for the black one.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;Also, while there may be different sellers offering them, most are actually the same seller using different names. I ordered the coral and the black jackets from two "different" sellers on ebay and they arrived shipped together in one package&nbsp;via DHL. It also takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks to receive them and DHL is pretty spotty with their tracking (it showed it wasn't a valid tracking number for close to two weeks then a day before the jackets arrived it showed it was and gave the shipping status, which was due for delivery the next day).</p> <p>One other thing to note --check their size charts very carefully. These definitely all run really small. I normally wear an XS in almost everything and after looking at their charts I went with the size small in all of the SkinHub jackets. I'm glad I did. While I may be somewhat broad in the back and chest area for someone my size I'm overall still pretty small and these jackets fit me about perfect in the size small. Was warm enough to wear a leather moto without requiring a sweater under it (got away with just a tee) but still required a scarf and hat thanks to those blustery Santa Ana winds.</p> <p>Decided to let the scarf colors be the uniting element in the outfit. Wasn't too sure about the combo of gold and subtle&nbsp;silver accents (there's a gold color in the scarf and the Chanel bag while the hardware on the jacket is silver, as is my jewelry and&nbsp;the slight accents on the gray and white python leather ankle boots.</p> <p>Is anyone else a bit OCD or anal retentive about their handbag or other hardware not being a different colored metal than their jewelry? I find this to be an area I struggle with combining without finding it irksome (so of course I had to challenge myself to give it a try).</p> <p>I own this coral pink cropped leather moto in burnt orange as well.
