The B&amp;G are so fortunate to have so many friends/family members&nbsp;still in good enough&nbsp;health to share the day(s!).</p> <p>I have to say that hearing the bride's friends give thumbs up to the dresses I helped her choose&nbsp;was awesome. The&nbsp;lace wedding&nbsp;dress photographed SO, so well. Not bad for $200 (Ralph Lauren)...plus the cost of the foundation garments that contributed to it looking so polished. And I love that her reception dress can be recycled for special events.</p> <p><b>I have a bit of a blanket "thank you" to YLFers&nbsp;who weighed in here and&nbsp;my dress preview thread.</b> Part of my style journey has been finding the guts to wear stuff that does, at times,&nbsp;garner attention...and not feel like I'm competing with other women. <b>[File under: Family issues]&nbsp;</b></p> <p>My sibs were a bit snarky about the Sparkle Barbie dress and I didn't give a rat's patootie as I felt gorgeous, fun, and appropriate for the occasion/venue. Wish the pro had captured some better shots of my Sparkle Barbie dress, but he had his hands more than&nbsp;full. ;)&nbsp;</p> <p>Funny thing was that we had lots of unintentional color co-ordinating -- so we looked more cohesive than we might have!&nbsp;</p> <p>Some descriptors below -- thanks for looking!</p> <p>1: Bride and flower girls got flowers to match their dress<br />2: Me in the ombre scarf with some of my fellow blue-dress wedding party folks...and the blue'd groom<br />3: The church outfit in action (I didn't get the bare legs memo)<br />4: Scarf from back<br />5: Me with my stylish grandmother<br />6: Male grandkids and Mr Vix in grey tones<br />7-8: Details of bride's dress and accessories (including a necklace I loaned her)<br />9: DIY flowers between ceremony and reception<br />10: B&amp;G at night<br />11-12: A mix of tripod shots and night-of ones -- the shoes were nice and secure&nbsp;for dancing</p> </p>
