It may be a good topic for another day. If I am having a particularly stressful work trip that stress often comes out in the form Of discontent with the clothing I have packed, and since I am often right in the midst of a major city, I will just pop out for an hour and pick something up. I don't usually spend a lot but it's not well thought out spending. This dress from JCrew was a good buy, and I also bought pants from clearance that were worthwhile - fit well and versatile (recent weight loss has left me with lots of ill-fitting pants). But last week in NYC I went to the revamped Club Monaco store and spent $150 on two sweaters I easily could have done without, didn't fill any real need. This is something I need I address for sure. Right now I am considering this month NO-vember, in order to take a break from spending and do a realistic assessment of my closet.
