But I agree it's hard to balance them properly. Often if I'm wearing a statement necklace, but feel like my ears look "naked", I do wear simple studs. Maybe give it a try? But it's really so individual; I know some people don't feel dressed without earrings, necklace, and watch or bracelet. Others use them quite sparingly. You'll have to figure out what works for you. Suggesting I leave off earrings is quite a challenge for this non minimalist. I've just recently let go of necklaces on some occasions. I love the chance to stretch myself and so appreciate the push. I'm not sure I could go without completely , but think perhaps I could opt for smaller ones as these are larger hoops. Maybe a stud instead would be more my comfort zone.
