I like the pattern mixing with the floral bag.<br /> Also enjoying the blue mesh top. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-clearing-the-backlog-from-winter-to-summer#post-1809199 Wed, 17 May 2017 17:47:03 +0000 Diana 1809199@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Here are a bunch of outfits from the last couple of weeks through today that I never got around to posting.&nbsp; (I did post a couple of special occasion outfits already - <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-the-loft-blazer-day-and-night">anniversary</a> and <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-a-new-handknit-skirt">Mother's Day</a>).&nbsp; In those two weeks, the weather seems to have gone from winter to summer!&nbsp; </p> <p>1-3: Pattern mixing and handknits.&nbsp; Striped tee, cabled handknit vest, ombre colorwork fingerless gloves, floral bag, plus jeans and boots.&nbsp; Quite a maximal, but fun, outfit.&nbsp; I've been trying to wear my fingerless gloves a bit more this spring as I have several handknit pairs that I rarely wear (I do wear them sometimes at my cold desk at work but I wanted to try styling them intentionally as part of an outfit and not just the thing I pull on to not freeze to death.)</p> <p>4-5: Cocoon + bubble.&nbsp; Popped my handknit cocoon cardigan over one of my bubble tunics and skinnies, plus a handknit mixed media cowl.</p> <p>6-7: Earth tones for a change. Camel sweater (an old, old handknit, from before I really understood sweater design and fit, so the fit is honestly not ideal, although I don't think it shows here) and brown suede boots.&nbsp; I don't wear these boots often because of the colors (earth tones are not really my thing).&nbsp; It's a shame because I love everything about them except for the fact that they are brown - if I could find them in a different color, I'd trade these in immediately.&nbsp; The colors are truer (but still a little washed out) in the second photo.&nbsp; </p> <p>8: Aaaand suddenly it's summer.&nbsp; I do have summer knits too!&nbsp; (Although they're more suited to early, milder summer, lol).&nbsp; Silk lace batwing top with my J Crew striped Teddie pants and oxfords.&nbsp; </p> <p>9-10:&nbsp; Flowers and metallic linen for rising mercury.&nbsp; It's currently 90ºF as I write this!&nbsp; Sandal weather for sure (but my toenails are still unpolished.&nbsp; Didn't have time yesterday to do them!) I haven't actually worn the white denim jacket at all so far today, but it's nice to have in case the AC kicks into overdrive at work.&nbsp; </p> <p> </p>
